I am going to college at PCC, Sylvanus Campus. My major is Electronic Engineering Technician (EET). I'm learning a lot, but its a lot of review which I need to get the degree. I've gotten A's in all my classes and have a 4.0 at PCC. You can see my current unofficial web transcript from PCC in the image at bottom right of this page. I also do prototyping of electronic devices on the side for inventions and personal use.

My business started with washing windows and moved on to cleaning gutters and then removing moss from roofs. I focus more now on moss treatment and removal, roof and gutter maintenance, concrete pressure washing and sealing and house washing.

Long story. Due to trusting wrong people, had to get first available job, which was washing windows. They couldn't keep me busy enough and was bad work environment. Was encouraged to start my own business. I did. I worked hard. It grew. And now I can breathe easier.

It was the quickest way or only way I saw at the time to make a living. I do it because I can make a living. I enjoy doing a good job for people and this allows me to do that. I don't do jobs I don't like. I don't feel compelled to do unethical work or work with others who rip people off for fear of losing a job.

Yes, I love it. It's challenging. It gives me hope. It builds self-confidence and is empowering. It build awesome life skills. I don't have to worry about "losing my job" or running out of work. I can tell people like it is about ways a certain job is done, why I do it the way I do so they appreciate it. I get to share with people ways they can maintain their home and save money so they can enjoy their home that they've paid so much for. Being thanked by the customer and seeing them smile is awesome. Some people even mail me thank you cards. That's cool. I post them on my walls.

Keeping track of accounting, budgeting. Disciplining myself to keep organized after finishing job when I'm tired, keeping truck clean and cleaned out. The physical work is invigorating and enjoyable. It's also hard to keep being so creative in making things I need. It's also a challenge to keep documenting things to build my knowledge and understanding of the work. Answering the phone is tough too. If I answer the phone, it's hard for me to turn down work even when I'm busy. This is probably from being poor from other jobs and learned behaviour of making money wherever possible. So now I just have to shut my phone off when I'm working and busy.
