Moss Treatment Testimonial

We would like everyone to know what an outstanding workman Brad Lewis is. He is knowledgeable, extremely hard-working, and honest. We moved to our present house in the fall of 2005--a 1939 Colonial house in Eastmoreland. In February, 2007, we hired Brad Lewis to treat the moss on our roof, and he did an excellent job at a very fair price (I think it was somewhere in the $250 range), and guaranteed that there would be no regrowth for at least 1 year.

In January of this year (2009), a company came through our neighborhood offering to "treat the moss on your roof" for a mere $950, so we called Brad to come over and see what, if anything, needed to be done. He explained to us that we didn't HAVE any moss on our roof! We had a layer of algae on our garage roof, and a bit of algae on parts of the house roof, which he treated with a spray, and at the same time he washed the entire east side entry of our house and garage to remove algae and dirt (it's a white house, and was looking pretty grimy). He charged us $250 for an afternoon of work (including chemicals), which we thought very fair. I then had him come back a week later to clean the algae off the rest of the house (the newly cleaned part of the house made the rest of the house look REALLY grimy), and power wash the algae and dirt off the decks and white trelliswork in the back yard. He was at our house almost all day, and the entire job cost $305, including chemicals. Brad Lewis is our "go to" guy for home maintenance.
